2013 Benefit Breakfast - Thank You!
You've done it! Thanks to your outpouring of support, HLA's 18th Annual Benefit Breakfast topped our goal of $460,000 for HLA's general operations. We reached this new record with generous contributions made at the breakfast. To the hundreds (910, to be exact) of you who joined us yesterday, we hope you enjoyed the rollicking presentation by Dennis Lehane, radiant performance by singer/songwriter Hannah Christianson, and the moving HLA success story from client Allison Panayakul, along with the beautiful video narrative about her son Reid.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all of our individual and corporate sponsors and each of you who supported the Breakfast and continue to support our work in so many ways. As a result of your generosity, we can continue providing free legal services to low-income individuals and families who are improperly denied access to life-sustaining health care or burdened with unaffordable medical bills in Massachusetts.
Our sincerest thanks goes out to our phenomenal Breakfast Co-Chairs: Paul Barrett, Senior Partner at Donoghue Barrett & Singal and Joyce Murphy, Executive Vice Chancellor at University of Massachusetts Medical School - Commonwealth Medicine, for their leadership and support.
